Raven is a figment of my imagination. I am facinated by these intelligent and majestic birds and hope I have reflected this. He is made from Scarva Ironware and finished with a touch of gold.
Sculpture is a dance with discovery. My work, taken from life is extended through personal and historical references.Using the human form to create narratives or abstracts exploration of material, movement and a dialogue with space are paramount.
I enjoy teaching, commission work and extending ideas though installations and more conceptual themes.
My work has been exhibited in The Netherlands, The United States and Great Britain.
Most recently it has been published in 500 Figures in Clay - 2nd edition
